Classic American cars

Testimonial from Michael
Michael bought a used 4 barrel Holley from us.

Hi Clive, carb arrived today and I’ve stripped most of it tonight.
Better than I hoped for, thank you very much, very happy.
Cheers, Martin

Testimonial from Andy Price

Hi Clive, I spoke to you around the end of last year and had a load of parts off you for my camaro, i had flywheel, rocker covers, clutch, plus a few other parts etc, i thought you might like to see the car now, and without you it wouldn’t have been finished, running and back on the road, thank you so so much for your effort with the parts.

I hope you don’t mind i have passed your number on to someone else who may need parts.

Thanks again, Andy

(1st 2 pics are essentially how i bought it, the last pic is how it looks now!)

One of the shortest testimonials around, this one is from Tony Parker, a man of few words. We built a 302ci small block Ford Windsor for Tony’s absolutely lairy Sumo Cobra replica.

”Hi Clive just to let you know I finally got around to getting my Ford 302 tuned up and the end figure was 1.6 co and 300 hydr and at 2400 revs it only produced 100 hydra carbons. You do build a good engine. Cheers Clive

Testimonial from Cleavers member Nick Lake

We built a 350 Chevrolet and 4 speed Muncie M20 for Nick to slip into his lovely Ford Model ‘A’.

“I cannot recommend Clive of Probuild American enough he has really stepped up to the mark with my budget rebuild. He has kept in contact through every stage of the build sending photographs or asking me to call round to inspect worn parts etc for replacement. The finished engine came painted and full of quality oil and break in additive ready for start up.

As I needed the engine early there was not enough time to break in the cam on the engine test bed, but Clive came round and supervised the start up and break in procedure at no extra cost.

I am up and running now with my warmed 350 and Muncie box (also rebuilt by Probuild American). I will definitely use them again for my next engine/modifications.”
